The BA(Drama)/ BEd (Secondary) will allow students who have an interest in teaching drama at the secondary level to complete two degrees in five years. The first three years of their program will be spent in the Faculty of Arts studying drama and the final two years will be completed in the Faculty of Education. This degree program will allow students to get an even greater foundation in drama to bring into the classroom. With access to even more classes in our nationally-recognized drama department, and time to become involved with more theatre project, students in this program will get the best of both worlds and finish with two degrees. It will also provide students with more career options following graduation and make them even more competitive in the job market. The best part is students who are planning to come to the U of A for Fall 2009 can still apply for this degree program! If students have already applied they can simply email chat@ualberta.ca and ask that their application first choice be changed to Faculty of Arts, BA(Drama)/BEd(Secondary).
